On October 24th, the Paris Opera Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jean-Michel Ferran, will make its debut at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center with a concert performance of the world-renowned opera "Carmen", bringing the legendary story of the Gypsy woman to life.

The concert will feature classic arias and excerpts from "Carmen", praised by Nietzsche as the "sun of the Mediterranean" and a cornerstone of French opera history. The program will include solos such as "Habanera (L'amour est un oiseau rebelle - Love is a Rebellious Bird)" and "Toreador Song" which reveal the characters' personalities, as well as duets like "Près des remparts de Séville (Near the Ramparts of Seville)" and "La fleur que tu m'avais jetée (The Flower You Threw Me)" which express emotional conflicts.
