Marta Pereira da Costa – Portuguese Guitar

Marta Pereira da Costa is the first and only professional female Portuguese guitar player worldwide in the fado tradition. Her artistic identity transcends borders, embracing a wide range of musical influences. She has toured internationally across Europe, the United States, Canada, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, taking the sound of the Portuguese guitar to prestigious venues and festivals. With her 2016 debut album, she established herself as a reference in Portuguese instrumental music. Her most recent album, Sem Palavras (Without Words), released in 2023, blends fado with jazz, Cape Verdean morna, Brazilian choro, and flamenco, affirming her unique artistic voice.
Ruben Alves – Piano

Ruben Alves is a Portuguese pianist, composer, and musical director with a career spanning diverse genres and collaborations. He has composed for film, television, and theater, while also performing on international stages. Known for his versatility, Ruben brings together classical training with a passion for jazz and world music, creating an expressive style that complements Marta’s guitar in a distinctive dialogue.
